Drowned on the way to buy fighting bulls

(Baonghean.vn) – After going to Laos and not being able to buy a fighting bull, Gia Chong Po was swept away by the water when he crossed the Nam Mo River.

At around 10:00 a.m. on August 14, many people in Ta Ca commune (Ky Son) were shocked to discover a body floating on the Nam Mo river flowing through the Nam Can 2 hydroelectric plant. The victim was later identified as Gia Chong Po, a man residing in Ca Duoi village (Na Ngoi commune - Ky Son).

According to Va Y Sua, the victim’s wife, on the morning of August 12, Mr. Po went through the Muong Tip border gate to Laos to buy a fighting bull. However, in the evening of the same day, he called to inform that he could not buy the bull and had to return. However, since then, his family has not been able to contact him. It was not until people informed him that they had found his body that the family found out.

The cause of Mr. Po's death was determined to be drowning.

The victim's body has been brought home by his family for burial according to local customs.
