The Secretary of the Youth Union of a commune in Nghe An province carried a candidate with brittle bones to the exam site.

This morning (June 5), more than 490 candidates came to register for the 10th grade entrance exam at Dang Thuc Hua High School (Thanh Chuong District), including a very special candidate. That is Nguyen Thi Hien (born in 2008), a student at Vo Liet Secondary School. Since birth, she has had to fight brittle bone disease. Her two legs are disabled, so she is almost unable to move on her own.

Grasping the situation, in recent days, the forceyouth volunteerin Vo Liet commune have cared for, encouraged and supported me during the exam preparation process and completion of exam procedures.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang - Secretary of the Youth Union of Vo Liet commune said that Nguyen Thi Hien was born into a very poor family in Yen Hoa hamlet (Vo Liet commune). Her mother is disabled in one eye, her father is often sick, so for many years her family has always been among the poor households in the commune.

However, Hien has an extraordinary determination, is always strong, optimistic and overcomes all difficulties to maintain good academic performance. For many years, she has always maintained the title of excellent student, being an exemplary student of the school.

Faced with Hien's situation, the youth union supported and made a plan to get her to the exam site on time, creating joy so that she could confidently complete the exam well.

Besides Nguyen Thi Hien, candidates with difficult circumstances in Vo Liet commune in particular and Thanh Chuong district in general have also been screened by the volunteer youth force, who have clearly identified the list to provide maximum support for them with free meals, free motorbike taxis, and safe places to rest./.
