Congratulating the leaders and experts of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy emphasized that over the past 90 years, propaganda work has made extremely important contributions; and in the new context, the requirements are increasingly higher.

Therefore, first of all, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department must organize and arrange work scientifically, assign tasks clearly, and promote the capacity of each comrade, especially in the condition of limited number of cadres and specialists.

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized the view that the Propaganda Department must be considered as the "command"; each Party organization, agency and unit must do propaganda work. Therefore, the Propaganda Department must have effective methods to organize, assign and gather forces to carry out propaganda work together.

In addition, in the new context, it requires those who do propaganda work to be extremely dynamic, sensitive and have the ability to forecast, analyze and evaluate the situation to a very high standard. Only then can they perform well the advisory work for the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct in a timely manner, especially on sensitive and newly arising issues in the process of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy also requested that the Propaganda Department continue to innovate the method of disseminating the Party and State's guidelines and policies to cadres, party members and people with the view that they must be the fastest, easiest to understand and most updated.

Along with that, after implementing directives, resolutions, guidelines and policies into life, the industry needs to advise the Party Committee to summarize, evaluate practices, and conduct research to improve theory and carry out tasks in the new period most effectively.

The Provincial Party Secretary noted that, along with traditional methods, it is necessary to use many new, more flexible and dynamic methods to carry out propaganda work, such as through social networks.

To do so, each person doing propaganda work must learn and understand how to use new technologies proficiently; practice sharp skills and abilities, and make solid and coherent arguments; besides, it is necessary to discover and gather factors in agencies and units of the political system to involve them in implementing propaganda work.

The industry also needs to continue to improve the effectiveness of consulting work and political and ideological orientation in press activities.

Accordingly, through activities, especially information and propaganda work, the viewpoint of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department is to orient and raise awareness of Party committees and authorities in performing well the task of advising and leading political and ideological work; and carrying out the mission of the sector.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department respectfully thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Secretary for their timely, responsible and profound attention, direction and facilitation for the industry; at the same time, expressed his determination to overcome limitations and difficulties to continue to perform his tasks well.
