The report on the results of the implementation of the Youth Union's tasks in the first 6 months of the year presented by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, clearly stated that the propaganda and education work of the Youth Union was implemented synchronously, innovated in content and form, educated through practical actions, set advanced examples, promoted the role of self-education and training of young people, focused on fostering revolutionary ideals, educating traditions, ethics, lifestyle, and legal awareness for young people.

Continuing to promote the effectiveness of the Youth Volunteer Team models, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee has directed the development of the Youth Volunteer Teams into agricultural and forestry extension centers, producing quality seeds, timely consuming products for people and team members; propagating, applying, and transferring scientific and technical advances into production for people, especially for ethnic minorities in mountainous areas. Developing and creating brands for strong products such as Tuyet San tea, black chicken, organic clean vegetables, etc.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also regularly exchanges work information and visits with the Youth Unions of Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang, and Bolykhamxay provinces of Laos, which share a border with Nghe An.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh highly appreciated the achievements of the provincial Youth Union in recent times. However, the concern of the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee is how to further spread the Youth Union movement and its presence to every grassroots level, especially in rural and mountainous areas. The solution that the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee proposed is to innovate the organization and operation methods of the Youth Union; at the same time, it is necessary to enhance the leadership role of the secretaries of the commune Youth Union branches and the secretaries of the grassroots Youth Union branches.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the youth movement needs to bring practical and specific results.

Regarding the work of gathering youth in industrial parks and export processing zones, the Provincial Party Secretary said that it is necessary to avoid "administrativeization" and deeply understand the aspirations of young people in order to mobilize effectively.

The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized that the Youth Union movement must meet 6 criteria: widespread, oriented, leading, practical, effective, sustainable and creative. He requested that Youth Union cadres must be truly dedicated to creating new features, implementing the movement with a focus, bringing practical and specific results, avoiding slogans and formalities.
