Provincial Party Secretary: Youth need to have 'pure heart, bright mind, big ambition'

(Baonghean.vn) - Congratulating the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee on the 86th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that union members and young people will always be imbued with the spirit of striving towards 'pure heart, bright mind, great ambition', and that union cadres must be exemplary and set an example.

On the afternoon of March 24, speaking to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that the Party and State always pay attention to the young generation; at the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and Nghe An youth have achieved; carried out movements with the spirit of striving to reach the target of work, moving towards comprehensive, effective and profound results in all fields.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Provincial Youth Union closely follow the spirit of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, and the political tasks of the province to concretize them into practical movements, contributing to nurturing the young generation, while contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, as well as ensuring national defense and security.

To prepare well for the Youth Union Congresses at all levels, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Youth Unions at all levels to properly implement the spirit of the Party Congress resolutions; the Youth Union cadre regulations from the provincial to grassroots levels regarding personnel work at the Youth Union Congress. In particular, it is necessary to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to continue advising the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to arrange Youth Union cadres with good training, when they reach adulthood, to new positions, creating development for younger Youth Union cadres.

“Strive for positions in the new term to have both succession and innovation. The Youth Union cadres from the provincial to grassroots levels must have clear leadership qualities, and the team must be young and the most representative of the union members and youth. The selection of Youth Union cadres must be carried out in the spirit of democracy, objectivity and impartiality,” Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh pointed out.
