(Baonghean.vn) - On August 19, in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Youth Unions of units and schools to organize the program "I love my Fatherland", presenting national flags and gifts to fishermen in Cua Lo town.
The program "I love my Fatherland" giving national flags to fishermen at sea has many contents, in which the main content is to organize contributions and mobilize the establishment of a fund to serve as a financial source to buy new national flags to give to fishermen to hang on their ships and boats during their trips at sea.

In addition, the program also includes: Propagating the Law on Sea and Islands; Medical examination, treatment and medicine distribution for fishermen; Giving gifts to families with preferential policies and children of fishermen in difficult circumstances; Launching a campaign to clean up the marine environment...


At the ceremony, the Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command and coordinating units presented 800 national flags; 130 life jackets; 10 bicycles and 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to policy families and fishing households in difficult circumstances in Cua Lo town.

Implemented from mid-2016 until now with practical activities towards the homeland sea and islands. The movement "I love my Fatherland" has presented more than 40,000 national flags, more than 500 gifts worth nearly 1 billion VND to fishermen and fishermen's children in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts and Cua Lo town.
