(Baonghean.vn) - The activity of giving national flags to fishermen aims to educate and raise awareness, responsibility and love for the homeland's sea and islands for cadres, youth union members in the provincial military and cadres, youth union members of agencies, units, schools and enterprises in the province.
On the morning of August 20, at the fishing port of Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town, the Youth Union of the Military Command of Nghe An province coordinated with the Youth Union of Nghe An Rehabilitation Hospital and related departments and branches to organize a ceremony to present the national flag, gifts, medicine cabinets and free medical examination and treatment to fishermen in Hoang Mai town.
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Chief of Politics of the Provincial Military Command and a large number of cadres, youth union members and fishermen in the town.
At the ceremony, after a special art program praising the love for the homeland's sea and islands, the Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command and coordinating units presented 2,500 national flags, 100 T-shirts printed with the red flag with a yellow star to fishermen working in the seafood catching business in Hoang Mai town; presented 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to fishing households in difficult circumstances and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in the town...
