Over the past 5 years (2013 - 2018), the Party Committee - Military Command of Nghe An province has directed agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Project "Innovation of political education work at units in the new period". Notably, the task of compiling political education materials for subjects according to regulations has been well implemented. Forms of political education have been flexibly and diversely applied such as political study, officer's thematic research, political and spiritual culture day, news announcements, etc. The contingent of political cadres is increasingly guaranteed in quantity and quality. Actively investing in technical facilities for political education activities such as projectors, televisions, documents, books, newspapers, magazines, etc.

Thanks to that, the quality of political education for subjects such as in-service cadres, new soldiers, militia, reserve mobilization... is ensured according to regulations; the results of annual political examinations always have 100% meeting requirements, of which 76.5% to 81.7% are good and excellent.

Typically, in 2014, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command was the first unit in the Military Region to successfully organize the Competition for Deputy Political Commissars of Military Commands of Communes, Wards, and Towns who are good at teaching politics. In 2015 and 2017, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command successfully organized the Competition for Political Commissars of Communes, Wards, and Towns who are good at teaching politics; established a team to participate in the Military Region 4 competition and won the first prize for the entire delegation...

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command held the closing ceremony of the 2018 Excellent Political Teaching Cadre Competition. At this year's competition, the contestants took part in three main events: multiple-choice knowledge tests on computers, practical test of preparing presentations, and practical test of teaching. The Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize to Major Ho Minh Tuan - Deputy Political Commissar of the Vinh City Military Command; 2 Second Prizes and 3 Third Prizes to political cadres with high results at the competition. Of which, 3 comrades who won First and Second Prizes will participate in the upcoming Excellent Political Teaching Cadre Competition of Military Region 4./.
