Accordingly, in the 12 months of reporting to the National Assembly (from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018), the Investigation Agencies received and resolved crime reports, denunciations and recommendations for prosecution, an increase of 4.57% compared to the same period in 2017. Of which, the Investigation Agencies in the People's Public Security received and resolved 118,731 reports, accounting for 98.83%; (the remaining 1.17% were crime reports and denunciations received and resolved by other agencies such as the Investigation Agency of the People's Army; Investigation Agency of the People's Procuracy; Other agencies assigned to conduct a number of investigation activities such as Customs, Coast Guard, Forest Rangers, etc.).

The total number of crime reports, denunciations and prosecution recommendations resolved was 104,767 (resolution rate reached 87.20%).

Compared to the total number of crime reports and denunciations that have been accepted for settlement, the above violations account for a very small proportion, specifically: The number of reports and denunciations that are not accepted in accordance with the regulations of the Investigation Agency in the People's Public Security is: 82/118,731 reports, accounting for 0.07%.

The number of crime reports, denunciations, and prosecution recommendations that have been resolved but the decision to resolve them was delayed in sending to the Procuracy by the Investigation Agency in the People's Public Security is 37/118,731 reports, accounting for 0.03%.

The number of overdue reports and denunciations handled by the Investigation Agency in the Public Security is 3,360/118,731 reports, accounting for 2.82%.
