Nghe An Border Guard visited and presented gifts to Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 28, representatives of the Nghe An Border Guard Command visited and presented gifts to Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai.
Two years ago, in the early morning of June 28, 2018, Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai's task force ambushed and arrested drug traffickers in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district. During the process of controlling the situation, Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai's task force was repeatedly shot by their accomplices who pulled out guns and fired at the task force to break up the siege. The incident injured two border guards, including Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai.
Despite being seriously injured, comrade Tai still coordinated with his teammates to control and arrest the subject, Nhua Ba Xenh, along with all the evidence: 20 heroin cakes, 7kg of methamphetamine, 12,000 methamphetamine pills, 1 gun, 15 bullets and 1 mobile phone.

Currently, comrade Nguyen Dinh Tai is practicing physical exercise and rehabilitation at home, his health has improved, but he still has pain when the weather changes. At Captain Nguyen Dinh Tai's family, representatives of the Nghe An Border Guard Command visited the family to inquire about their health, encouraged them and gave them gifts.
