At the Government Standing Committee meeting on Covid-19 prevention and control, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said that the Ministry of Education and Training plans to announce the reference exam questions for the high school graduation exam before May 10 to reassure students.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Huu Do, the Ministry of Education and Training is urgently developing regulations to prepare for the high school graduation exam, and is expected to issue the exam regulations before May 15.

For the reference exam questions for high school graduation exams, the Ministry of Education and Training plans to announce them before May 10 so that students can rest assured.

“The reference questions are still consistent with the graduation exam but there is still differentiation so that universities can consider and enroll students based on that. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training is directing the development of university admission regulations. The graduation exam regulations will be completed before May 15,” said Deputy Minister Nguyen Huu Do.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Huu Do also added that by April 28, 38 provinces and cities had allowed students to return to school. Currently, 60 provinces and cities are ready to welcome students back to school on May 4, while the remaining 3 provinces and cities will make further decisions this afternoon, aiming to allow students to return to school on May 4.

The Ministry of Education and Training has issued documents directing and guiding localities to implement safety measures in schools to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, 38 provinces and cities that allowed students to return to school strictly implemented Directives 15, 16 and 19 of the Prime Minister such as: implementing social distancing to ensure safety for students, spraying disinfectant in classrooms, having places to wash hands with soap, adequate hygiene, etc.
