1. Ministry of Public Security

On January 24, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, handed over the decision to temporarily transfer and appoint Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, former Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security, to the position of Deputy Director of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial Police.

On January 25, the People's Courts at two levels of Ha Giang province held a conference to deploy the work of the Court in 2018 and announced the Decision to appoint Deputy Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court. At the conference, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Tri Tue presented the Decision to appoint comrade Truong Huy Huan (born in 1975), Intermediate Judge, Chief Justice of Yen Minh District People's Court to hold the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court for a term of 5 years from January 15, 2018.

Accordingly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs decided to appoint Mr. Thai Xuan Dung, Director of the Western Border Department, National Border Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the National Border Committee.
Transfer Mr. Dinh Toan Thang, Director of the Foreign Policy Department, to hold the position of Director of the European Department.
Appoint Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Director of the Western Border Department, National Border Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Western Border Department, National Border Committee.
Receive and transfer Mr. Do Xuan Thong, former Minister Counselor - Second Person of the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark, after his term of office, to return to Vietnam, to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the World and Vietnam Newspaper.
Appoint Ms. Nguyen Quynh Mai, Head of Policy and Regime Division, Department of Organization and Personnel, to hold the position of Deputy Head of Department of Organization and Personnel.

On the afternoon of January 25, the People's Council of Lang Son province held the 7th Session (Extraordinary Session) to elect an additional Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Based on the recommendation of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council delegates voted to elect comrade Nguyen Long Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term, achieving 91.37% of the votes.
Before being elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Nguyen Long Hai was Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, concurrently Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union for the 2012-2017 term; Permanent Deputy Chairman and General Secretary of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth, Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

On January 22, Thanh Hoa City People's Council held its 5th session (extraordinary meeting) to elect the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 21st term, 2016-2021 term.
With 41/41 votes (100%), Mr. Le Anh Xuan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, was elected Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee, term XXI, 2016-2021.
