(Baonghean.vn)- Voters in some localities reported that in some places, the electricity sector uses old power lines that were built by people's contributions in the past, which are now seriously damaged but have not been replaced. In rural areas, the system of power poles and power lines is seriously degraded, requiring bamboo and wooden poles for support, which have not been maintained or upgraded, posing a risk of being unsafe. In many areas, the electricity is too weak to meet the production, business and daily needs of the people.

The relevant authorities responded to this issue as follows:

- The current situation of the rural low-voltage power grid after being taken over by Nghe An Power Company is in a dilapidated and degraded state, the transformer stations are overloaded, the power supply radius is long, leading to poor power quality, unsafety, affecting people's lives. Since 2010, Nghe An Power Company has invested, built, renovated, upgraded and energized nearly 600 transformer stations, but has only basically handled the overloaded points.

In the past, the Electricity industry has invested more than 1,500 billion VND to renovate the low-voltage grid alone, but due to the old and dilapidated grid and the large volume of received power, only 1/3 of the received volume has been renovated (3,828.443 km/total 11,600 km have been renovated).

To meet the people's electricity needs, the Electricity industry is continuing to invest in additional transformer stations with an estimated 1,500 stations in the 2015-2018 period. The total estimated capital needed is about 2,500 billion VND to meet the needs of upgrading low-voltage lines and transformer stations to serve the people.

- Implementation solutions in the coming time: Currently, Nghe An Electricity Company has counted the volume of renovation needed for each commune registered with the Northern Electricity Corporation to allocate capital to implement the project of upgrading power lines that are at risk of being unsafe and dangerous to people's lives and property, combined with gradually adjusting the power grid planning to be reasonable.
