Nghe An Electricity Company launched a campaign to clear the safety corridor of the high-voltage power grid and handle power grid defects.

This is an extremely important activity, aiming to ensure safe, stable, continuous and quality electricity supply, serving the people's daily life and socio-economic development of the province. This activity is part of the plan to strengthen the work of ensuring the safety corridor of the high-voltage grid and contributing to reducing power loss.

The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Cong Thanh - Director of Nghe An Power Company; representatives of the People's Committees of Nghia Tho, Dong Hieu and Quynh Tam communes; representatives of the police, army, militia and representatives of telecommunications networks operating in the area, along with the Board of Directors of PC Nghe An, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, heads of specialized departments, Secretary of the Company's Youth Union and more than 400 people participating in the campaign. Of which, Nghe An Power Company mobilized more than 300 officers and employees, while Nghia Tho, Dong Hieu and Quynh Tam communes mobilized 100 people including police, army, militia and youth union forces, etc.

This campaign was deployed simultaneously on line 371E15.36 with a total line length of 102.201km, mainly passing through mountainous terrain, forestry forests and some residential areas; supplying electricity to customers located in Nghia Dan and Nghia Tho communes (belonging to the old Nghia Dan district), Dong Hieu commune (belonging to the old Thai Hoa town) and Quynh Tam commune (belonging to the old Quynh Luu district). Connecting electricity supply to Hung Chau commune (old Dien Chau district). In addition, line 371E15.36 also supplies electricity to a number of important customers, especially industrial parks, large-capacity factories such as Nghe An Food Factory, Duc Thinh Industrial Park Co., Ltd., Truong Son Joint Stock Company, Pineapple Factory, military units, pumping stations...

Launching at the launching ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of PC Nghe An emphasized: "Electricity is an essential energy source, playing a vital role in all production and daily activities. However, in reality, in the province, there are still trees and constructions violating the safety corridor of the power grid, along with some defects on the power grid, posing a potential risk of incidents and insecurity for the community. Therefore, organizing a simultaneous and drastic launch is a practical action, contributing to improving the reliability of power supply, preventing accidents, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

With the spirit of "Safety - Efficiency - Discipline - Responsibility", Nghe An Power Company mobilizes its staff, closely coordinates with authorities at all levels, agencies and sectors, with the consensus of the people, determined to successfully implement the goal: Completely eliminate violations of the high-voltage grid safety corridor; Resolutely handle defects in the grid system; Create a new look, the grid operates safely and reliably, meeting the socio-economic development needs of Nghe An province in the new period".

Within one day, the working groups coordinated to handle more than 8,000 trees at risk of incidents, not ensuring the safety of the power grid system; handled and replaced poor quality equipment and materials on the power grid such as insulators, circuit breakers, lightning arresters and self-falling fuses... installed lightning arresters with lightning rods. Especially in this campaign, Mr. Pham Cong Thanh - Director of PC Nghe An directly went to the scene with the Company's Board of Directors, coordinated with local authorities and functional forces to strengthen the mass mobilization work, effectively implemented, and completely resolved the remaining violations of the power grid safety corridor on line 371E15.36. This is a significant success in the campaign, contributing to the safety of the power grid system, reducing power loss and electrical safety for the people.

Leaders of Nghe An Electricity Company also expressed their gratitude and acknowledged the active cooperation of local authorities, armed forces and people in creating conditions for the corridor clearance work to take place smoothly, safely and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Van Truong - Vice Chairman of Quynh Tam Commune People's Committee, Nghe An Province affirmed: We will continue to closely coordinate and accompany the electricity sector in propagating the safety of the power grid corridor to each household, mobilizing people not to plant tall trees with fast growth rates under the line corridor, not to build works that violate the safety distance, promptly detect and coordinate to handle violations to prevent power grid incidents, ensure the safety of property and life for people. At the same time, we call on people to use electricity economically and effectively.

The program to launch a campaign to liberate the safety corridor of the high-voltage power grid and handle power grid defects will continue to be a model that is replicated throughout the province, contributing to building a "power-safe" area, ensuring a smooth power grid, providing stable, continuous, and reliable power supply to people during the hot and rainy seasons of 2025 and the following years.
