Product advertising is rampant on the internet.

Currently, on some websites and social networks, there are images of the Certificate of Receipt of Product Declaration Registration No. 5834/2018/Product Registration issued by the Department of Food Safety on September 5, 2018 and images of the health protection food product Slim Kangtado, a product announced by IAC Trading Company Limited (6th floor, Sannam building, No. 78 Duy Tan street, Dich Vong Hau ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi), manufactured at the Factory of Thang Long International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, Nguyen Khe Small and Medium Industrial Park, Group 61 - Dong Anh Town, Dong Anh district, Hanoi.

The advertising content of the Slim Kangtado health food product on the above websites is inaccurate, the Company's product announcement file does not contain any content or documents about "Herbal medicine for treating overweight and obesity, Inheriting Mrs. Dung's formula"; the advertisement is not true about the information: "I also asked the Ministry of Health to test and get a license from them", "Mrs. Dung has improved the new formula to be even more effective and also has its own English name "Slim Kangtado".

The advertising content on the above websites has not been assessed and confirmed by the competent state agency, advertising food with disease treatment effects... violates the provisions of the law on food advertising.

For the safety of users, while the authorities are handling the case, the Food Safety Department recommends that consumers be cautious with advertising information about the health protection food Slim Kangtado, which is being advertised as "Mrs. Dung's traditional weight loss herbal medicine"; do not buy or use products advertised and sold on websites that violate the above advertising content.

The Food Safety Department will inform consumers of the results of the case handling as soon as possible./.
