Training and improving tourism knowledge for 120 students
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 18, the Department of Tourism organized a training program to improve tourism knowledge in 2018 for 120 students from tourism units, travel agencies and tourist transport businesses in the province.
The training program took place over 5 days, from April 18 to April 22. The program was organized with the aim of improving the quality of tourism human resources, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign tourists, thereby creating an impressive and attractive image of Nghe An tourism.

The training content revolves around fostering legal knowledge and tourism expertise for those who are directly working at tourism units, travel agencies and tourist transport businesses.
Speaking at the training program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism said that in 2017, Nghe An welcomed about 5.96 million visitors, including 109,000 international visitors; total revenue from tourism activities reached 6,086 billion VND.

Identifying tourism as one of the province's key economic sectors, the Department of Tourism hopes that the training program will help tourism units, travel agencies and passenger transport businesses improve their communication and behavioral skills, aiming for civility and professionalism in tourism business activities.
