In 2018, the Standing Committee of Que Phong District Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of directives and resolutions at all levels seriously and resolutely to overcome the shortcomings and limitations mentioned. Thanks to that, the growth rate in 2018 reached 11.7%; the budget revenue in the area reached 596.48 billion VND, an increase of 23.8% of the estimate; the average income per capita reached 27.2 million VND/year, an increase of 13.8% compared to 2017.

The District Party Committee has also directed the implementation of security and order in special areas, contributing to ensuring social stability. The district has 4 more villages meeting new rural standards. The district has well implemented the work of zoning and protecting existing forest areas according to assigned functions and tasks. In the district, 800 hectares of concentrated forests and 53 hectares of scattered forests have been planted; the work of building the Party, the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations continues to have many positive changes.

With a spirit of frankness and democracy, the Standing Committee and each member of the Standing Committee of Que Phong District Party Committee seriously reviewed, criticized and self-criticized, focusing on clarifying the advantages and limitations, clearly defining responsibilities in each area of ​​responsibility. At the same time, solutions were proposed to overcome the shortcomings and limitations in order to perform better in 2019.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Van Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized: 2019 is the decisive year for implementing the goals set by the District Party Congress. The District Party Standing Committee needs to focus on thoroughly grasping, studying and effectively implementing Resolutions 7 and 8 of the 12th Party Central Committee and Directives, Resolutions, especially Resolution No. 16/2017 of the Politburo on socio-economic development of border communes, combined with strengthening and consolidating national defense - security and foreign affairs;

Lead and direct Party building work, promote the exemplary vanguard role of cadres and Party members; create resources and develop the Party, build a core cadre team among ethnic minorities;

Focus on leadership and direction to enhance the role of public ethics; well implement Directive 26 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee; grasp the local situation, especially border security, and prevent the trading of fireworks during the Lunar New Year 2019.
