Press agencies spread positive signals, bright spots in economic recovery and development

On the morning of December 6, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Journalists Association, and the Department of Information and Communications jointly organized a periodic press conference for November 2021.

Strengthening solutions to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic

In November, press agencies disseminated, informed, and updated current events, politics, domestic and foreign affairs activities; and worked in some localities of provincial leaders.

Some of the contents that the press agencies are interested in and strongly promote are: Results of the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly; Celebrating the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, the traditional day of the Fatherland Front; activities to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day November 20; 60th anniversary of the founding of Nghe An Newspaper.

In the socio-economic field, press agencies have reported and disseminated positive signals and bright spots in economic recovery, production and business; and efforts in disease prevention and control in Nghe An province.

Press agencies continue to promote critical thinking, in which a number of problems, inadequacies, violations, and environmental pollution at a number of projects and works affecting people's lives have been reflected.

The conference listened to Dr. Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Health inform about the situation of Covid-19 prevention and control in Nghe An province. In which he emphasized: Covid-19 epidemic is becoming more and more complicated, the number of new cases is increasing, appearing in many areas.

According to the Deputy Director of the Department of Health, in the context of implementing the anti-epidemic motto of "safe, flexible adaptation, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic", controlling people traveling from epidemic areas or from one epidemic area to another is facing many difficulties, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year. The epidemic has begun to appear in schools and production and business establishments.

To solve difficulties in epidemic prevention, the Department of Health has been consulting the Provincial Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control on epidemic prevention and control solutions suitable for each condition.

In particular, the consistent and consistent viewpoint is not to be negligent, subjective, or lose vigilance but not to be too panicked; control migration fluctuations, promote the role of community Covid teams to control people returning from epidemic areas; issue guidelines for F0 treatment and F1 isolation.

Based on the criteria, localities update and closely follow documents, proactively assess the epidemic level, and proactively deploy plans to prevent and control the epidemic.

He asked the press agencies to work with the health sector to do a good job of communicating about epidemic prevention and vaccination.

Regarding the vaccination work of Nghe An province, up to now, the number of people fully vaccinated with basic doses has reached 42% of the total population; the number of people vaccinated with at least 1 dose has reached 58%; the number of people over 18 years old vaccinated with basic doses has reached 72%, the number of people vaccinated with at least 1 dose has reached 98%; children aged 12-17 vaccinated with at least 1 dose has reached 33%.

Propaganda to create consensus when implementing the project

The Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park investment project in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district is invested by Lac Vien Company Limited - Hoan Vu Nghe An Crematorium with the purpose of serving people's lives, meeting the burial needs of Vinh city residents and surrounding areas.

Through dialogue and verification of the contents and issues that people are still concerned about, it is affirmed that the investment policy for the project is completely correct, complies with legal regulations, investment procedures are complete, ensuring scientific and practical nature, and it is necessary to speed up the implementation of the project to complete and put it into operation to serve people's lives.

The project has a total investment of 465.32 billion VND, a planned construction area of ​​78.47 hectares, applying modern burial technology solutions and environmental protection. The project has completed legal procedures on investment, environmental impact assessment, and land procedures. Currently, the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district is implementing compensation for site clearance, and has so far completed the first phase of site clearance (327,451.0m²) and hand over the site milestones to the investor to implement the project.

Regarding propaganda orientation, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department suggested that press agencies should focus on propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines to raise people's awareness to ensure compliance with regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

Promote good models and practices, honor collectives and individuals who are at the forefront of epidemic prevention and control; pay attention to promoting Party building, national defense and security work of Nghe An province in 2021 and the efforts of Party committees and authorities to achieve goals in all fields, while reflecting on existing problems and difficulties at the grassroots level.
