Localities hand over gratitude houses to veterans and poor households
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 3, the inauguration and handover ceremony of gratitude houses and solidarity houses took place for poor households and veterans in Dien Chau and Anh Son districts.
* October 3,Dien Chau Fatherland Front Committeehanded over 3 solidarity houses to poor households in Dien Thang, Dien Ngoc and Dien Truong communes.
Three families were handed over solidarity houses, including: Mrs. Ta Thi Huong's family in hamlet 3, Dien Thang commune, who is raising a young child alone; was supported to build a new house with an area of 60m2.2, cost 100 million VND; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chuc's family in Trung Yen hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune is a policy household, with 3 disabled children; was supported to build a new house with an area of 42m22, costing over 50 million VND. And the family of parishioner Nguyen Ngoc Dinh in hamlet 18, Dien Truong commune was able to build a house with an area of 51m2.2cost 144 million dong

All 3 houses were started in early 2018, the District Fatherland Front Committee supported each house with 20 million VND, the communes supported from 5-10 million VND/house.
Since the beginning of the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau district has handed over 13 solidarity houses to poor households; contributing to helping families in difficult circumstances improve their lives.
* Same day,Association of War Veterans of Anh Son Districtheld the inauguration ceremony and handed over the gratitude house to veteran Truong Cong Xuan in village 9, Tho Son commune.
Veteran Truong Cong Xuan's family is in difficult circumstances, the whole family lives in a dilapidated level 4 house. He himself is often sick and ill.
The Association of War Veterans of Anh Son District called on Vingroup Corporation to support the construction of a house of gratitude for his family. After 3 months of construction, the house was completed, of which Vingroup Corporation supported 50 million VND, the rest was supported by the family's savings and relatives.
