Localities and businesses continue to support people affected by floods in Nghe An

*Working delegation of Xieng Khouang Provincial Party Committee and Government, led by Comrade Bun Huong Xulyxay - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Xieng Khouang Department of Labor, Welfare and Social Affairs, visited and presented gifts to support the government and people of Ky Son district, joining hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The working delegation of the Party Committee and the government of Xieng Khouang province sent their regards and encouraged the people to overcome difficulties soon and presented 3 tons of sticky rice and essential necessities to support the government and people of Ky Son to overcome difficulties. The gifts demonstrate the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, and the loyalty between the leaders and people of Ky Son district, Nghe An and Xieng Khouang province.

*Quang Binh Provincial Red Cross SocietyThe delegation led by Mr. Dao Huu Tuan - Permanent Vice Chairman went to Nghe An to visit, encourage and support the people of Ky Son with more than 159 million VND and 5.5 tons of goods; worth 100 million VND.

On this occasion, the Red Cross Society of Soc Son district - Hanoi city visited and presented 206 gifts, worth more than 200 million VND (cash and necessities) to households affected by floods in Anh Son district.

*Youth Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - JSCSupport 20 million VND for 10 families with people lost due to floods.

The delegation directly visited, encouraged and gave 8 million VND to 4 families in Hung Chinh and Nghi An communes - Vinh city, Nghi Lam commune - Nghi Loc district. The delegation authorized the provincial Red Cross to give the remaining amount to the families as soon as possible.
