Localities and units launch Tet tree planting festival in the spring of the year of the Pig

*Con Cuong Districtorganized the launching ceremony of the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2019 in Hong Son village, Luc Da commune.

At the ceremony, delegates and people of Luc Da commune participated in planting 160 trees including Lagerstroemia and Bauhinia trees along both sides of the road from Khe Moi spillway to the top of Pu Ong slope, 2,500m long. According to the plan, 13/13 communes, towns and agencies and units will respond to planting 760 trees from February 12-13, 2019.

On average, Con Cuong district plants over 1,000 hectares of forest each year. The forest coverage rate in Con Cuong is the highest in the country, at over 86%. Planting forests for timber and raw materials has created effective income for farmers.

In 2019, Con Cuong district strives to plant over 1,000 hectares of forest, continue to implement the project of planting trees to create shade, and planting ornamental flowers and trees to create scenery at offices and offices, on both sides of village roads and alleys.
