Localities launch Tet support campaign for the poor 2023

* Responding to the appeal letter of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on supporting and helping the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dan district called on departments, branches, enterprises, organizations, units, individuals, and people inside and outside the district to support and help the poor and people in difficult circumstances in the spirit of "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind".

At the launching ceremony, the "Tet for the Poor" Fund of Nam Dan district received more than 20 million VND from delegates attending the launching ceremony and received 1.37 billion VND in support from agencies, units, organizations, businesses, individuals and 19 communes and towns in the area.

* Immediately after the launching ceremony to support "Tet for the poor" Quy Mao 2023, more than 80 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Quynh Luu district government participated in contributing to the fund with an amount of more than 22.4 million VND. The donated money will be transferred to the district Fatherland Front Committee to give to the poor in the district.

This is an activity demonstrating the tradition of "Mutual love and support", "Helping the needy" of the cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Quynh Luu district government to contribute to sharing and encouraging materially and spiritually, helping poor households have more conditions to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao in a warmer and more prosperous manner.
