Localities ready for military service day

(Baonghean.vn) - According to plan, the 2017 military enlistment ceremony will be held on the morning of February 15. Up to now, localities have been ready for the military enlistment.

* In 2017, the districtNam Danwas allocated a quota of 140 male citizens for military service and 18 male citizens for police service, assigned to the following units: Division 968, Information Brigade 80, Air Defense Brigade 283 and Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

Up to now, the District Military Service Council has finalized the number of soldiers, completed all procedures and documents ready to hand over to the units receiving soldiers. This year, the cultural and health level of the young men enlisted is higher than last year, of which 8.57% have university and college degrees; 45 young men have studied Party subjects, 100% are members of the Youth Union. The young men are very excited and are eagerly waiting for the military enlistment day.

During the trip, 133 young men who joined the army in the first batch of 2017 of the district offered flowers and incense at the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Hong Phong, Kim Lien and Truong Bon relic sites. Reviewing the heroic feats of generations of fathers and brothers, representatives of the young men preparing to join the army promised to try to promote the tradition of the heroic homeland of Hung Nguyen, constantly cultivate, train, overcome all difficulties and challenges, strive to be worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's soldiers", and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

This year, Quynh Luu district was assigned the target of recruiting 240 young men to join the army, including 11 young men from the 764th Regiment of the provincial military command, 4 young men from the Nghe An Border Guard, 70 young men from the Navy, 70 young men from the Armored Corps and 85 young men from the 968th Division of Military Region 4.

Thanks to the good work of preliminary examination for military service, the Military Service Council of Quynh Luu district has selected 252 young people who meet the conditions of health and cultural level, including 240 official young people and 12 reserve young people.

The age of the young people joining the army is from 18 to 26, with a cultural level of secondary school graduation or higher, including 16 young people who have graduated from university, college and vocational secondary school. Notably, among the recruited young people, there are 17 young people from the mountainous areas./.
