Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 inspects preparations for the military handover ceremony in Nghe An

On February 13, a working delegation from Military Region 4 led by Major General Le Van Vy - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region inspected the preparations for the military handover ceremony in Nam Dan district.

Joining the delegation was Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

In 2025, Nam Dan district was assigned by the province to select and call citizens.join the army183 citizens have been drafted into the army and the people's police. Up to now, the district has finalized the number of soldiers and issued orders to enlist in the army for 166 citizens and in the people's police for 17 citizens. Of these, 157 citizens have health type 1 and type 2, reaching 87.7%; 42 citizens have attended the Party training class; 78 citizens have written applications to volunteer to enlist; 14 citizens have university, college, and intermediate degrees and 13 religious youths.

To ensure the number of soldiers as well as the health of young men leaving for military service, localities have had many solutions in the initial health examination for military service such as: Paraclinical examination, HIV and drug testing; equipping eye and blood pressure measuring machines for military examination; issuing regulations assigning responsibility to leaders in military recruitment work.

Currently, all levels, sectors and localities have organized meetings, given gifts and encouraged citizens to join the army, with a total amount of money ranging from 1,500,000 VND to 2,500,000 VND; at the district level, from 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND/citizen.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee deducted from the Fund for the Poor to give cash of 1,000,000 VND/citizen to citizens in difficult circumstances, poor households, near-poor households...

100% of the young people were present in the locality and received the Call-up Order, personal military equipment and were ready to leave for military service.

Through the actual inspection, Major General Le Van Vy requested Nam Dan district to closely follow the instructions and guidance of the Military Region 4 Command and the Provincial Military Command on the organization of the 2025 military handover ceremony which will take place tomorrow (February 14). Proactively and carefully prepare plans to ensure security and order; organization and logistics work must ensure quality and quantity as required.

At the same time, further promote propaganda, dissemination and education to raise awareness and responsibility for implementing the Law on Military Service among the people, especially citizens of military service age.

Along with that, the locality needs to grasp the ideological situation of the recruited youth to promptly coordinate with the organizations to mobilize and handle any situation that may arise. Organize the military handover ceremony in accordance with regulations, solemnly, safely and economically.
