Localities celebrate Great Unity Day

On the afternoon of November 16, the people of Hop Binh hamlet, Khanh Hop commune (Nghi Loc) organized a celebration of the 91st anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2021), the National Great Unity Day in the residential area.

Hop Binh Hamlet, Khanh Hop Commune,Nghi Loc districtThere are 136 households and 907 people. In the past time, the people in the hamlet have actively worked in production and legally enriched themselves. Up to now, the average income per capita in 2021 is estimated at 55 million VND, the hamlet has the highest income in the commune. The number of well-off and rich households: 75 households, accounting for 55%; there are 2 poor households, no near-poor households.

Over the past year, the people have actively participated in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, such as: Supporting the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic with an amount of 6.2 million VND and many other necessities such as: fish, dried shrimp, tubers, fruits, peanuts worth nearly 4,000,000 VND; supporting the "Fund for the Poor" with 2,700,000 VND; supporting the construction of rural concrete roads with 31 million VND, renovating and buying loudspeakers, cultural house facilities with 15 million VND...

In addition, the people also pay attention to education, health protection, environmental protection, building cultural families and cultural villages; enhancing cultural, artistic and sports activities; promoting the exemplary role of every family and every person in the community. Up to now, over 92% of households have achieved the title of Cultural Family; the Scholarship Fund is 5 million VND...

Talking to the people of Hop Binh hamlet, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh expressed her joy that the Party's policies, movements, and major campaigns of the Central, the province, and the district have been enthusiastically responded to and actively participated in by the people of Khanh Hop commune in general and Hop Binh hamlet in particular, achieving many good results.

Ban Tong is one of five villages selected to build a new rural area in Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district. The village has 134 households, with 577 people; most of whom are Thai ethnic people. The economic life of the villagers mainly depends on agricultural production, livestock and forestry.

Over the years, the Party Committee, the Front Work Subcommittee, and the Village Executive Committee have made great efforts in leading, directing, and mobilizing people to unite, overcome difficulties to develop the economy, and build cultural life in residential areas.

In 2021, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, Tong village achieved many encouraging results: Economic growth rate reached 4.7%; average income reached 15.4 million VND/person/year; poverty rate decreased to 8.2%; cultural family rate reached 89.4%... Security and order in the village were ensured; the study promotion movement was promoted, 100% of children went to school at the right age. Tong village has achieved 13/15 new rural criteria.

In his congratulatory speech to Tong village on the occasion of the National Great Unity Day, comrade Duong Dinh Chinh praised the Party Committee, the Front Working Subcommittee, the Executive Committee and the people of the village for their efforts, upholding solidarity in building an increasingly developed economic and cultural life; and excellently completing assigned tasks.

Sending wishes for good health, comrade Duong Dinh Chinh expressed his wish: The people of Tong village continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, join hands with the Party Committee and government to overcome difficulties and challenges, strive to successfully implement the local socio-economic development plans, so that there will be more and more well-off households, no more poor and near-poor households, and soon reach the new rural finish line.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to Tong village and 10 poor households in the village... The working delegation also visited, inspected and presented gifts to officers and staff of Binh Chuan Commune Health Station; assigned the Binh Chuan Commune Health Station to continue promoting its role and responsibility to effectively participate in the work of epidemic prevention and primary health protection for local people.
