(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 2, comrades Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former Politburo members and former Chairwomen of the National Assembly, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.

In a sacred atmosphere, the delegation listened to excerpts of President Ho Chi Minh's reading of the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); the immortal Declaration on National Day opened a new era, for the first time the Vietnamese people had the right to hold their heads high, proud to become citizens of a free and independent country.
