Activities to congratulate Catholics on Christmas

At the parishes, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha and members of the working delegation warmly visited, presented flowers and wished the priests, pastoral councils and the majority of parishioners good health, solidarity, good life, respect for God and love for the country; to have a happy and peaceful Christmas, and to take care of building their families, homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous.

The delegation also expressed their gratitude to the priests and parishioners for creating favorable conditions to support and assist the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces in building and defending the Fatherland, maintaining political security, social order and safety, and contributing to promoting local socio-economic development in recent years.

Priests of the deaneries and parishes expressed their gratitude for the attention of the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command and the Party committees, authorities and organizations in the province who have always paid attention and created favorable conditions in all aspects for the parishioners in economic, cultural, social development and poverty reduction.

On the occasion of Christmas every year, the Association at all levels always organizes visits and presents gifts to outstanding Catholic members, organizes exchange activities with parishes and sub-parishes in the area; in order to contribute to strengthening solidarity between Catholics and non-Catholics.

In 2018, 18 parishes contributed 4.7 billion VND in cash, built 7,500m of concrete roads, 2,000m of canals, 3,200m of intra-field roads; supported 281 million VND in cash for the Fund for the Poor and the Gratitude Fund.
