Activities to support poor students before the new school year

In Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau district), some benefactors came to give gifts to Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (born in 2001), an orphan in Ke Khoang village, Chau Binh commune.

Trang's situation is very difficult, her father passed away when she was only 10 years old, her mother also passed away 4 years later. Her parents died early, Huyen Trang had to go to school and take care of her two younger siblings. Despite the hardships, she always tried to study well, was an excellent student for many years, and won first prize in Geography at the provincial level. In the recent National High School Exam, Huyen Trang scored 26.25 points, and was admitted to university in group C to the Faculty of Economic Law, Hanoi Law University.

At Nghia Dan,“For Vietnamese Stature Fund and NASU for the Future” presented school bags to disadvantaged first graders at Nghia Yen Primary School (Nghia Dan).

Here, 170 students were given 170 backpacks and some school supplies to join hands to support children in difficult circumstances before the new school year.

In Tuong Duong district, Hanoi Book Lovers Associationcame to give gifts "Support to go to school" to the school and poor students of Xa Luong Primary School and Tam Hop Commune for 2 days (August 16 and 17).

On this occasion, the Delegation presented more than 500 books, newspapers, stories, mini bookcases, learning tools, sports equipment and some other necessities to two primary schools in the border area, Xa Luong Primary School and Tam Hop Primary School.

This is a program within the charity project series "100 libraries for children" implemented by the Hanoi Book Lovers Charity Organization in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces on the occasion of the new school year 2019-2020./.
