Gift giving activities, supporting the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 12, units and localities had many activities to give gifts and support the poor.
* Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police)The delegation led by Colonel Cao Minh Phuong - Head of the Department visited traffic accident victims in Yen Thanh district on the occasion of World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims.

The working delegation visited 5 families with people who died in traffic accidents in 5 communes in Yen Thanh district.
At the places visited, the delegation kindly visited, encouraged and shared the losses of families whose relatives died in traffic accidents, hoping that the families would overcome their difficulties. The delegation also requested local authorities and organizations to actively provide material and spiritual support to ensure the lives of the victims' families.

Mrs. Phung Thi Nam is 78 years old this year, her life is full of difficulties. She is currently living with her grandchildren in Tan Lien block, Hoa Hieu ward. In July 2018, she had an accident and had to receive long-term treatment at the hospital. In that situation, on this occasion, Thai Hoa Red Cross Association and Hoa Hieu ward People's Committee visited, encouraged and presented her with 3 million VND.

* Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan districtCoordinated with the Fatherland Front of Nghia Loc commune to organize the giving of breeding cows to poor households and orphans in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, 6 breeding cows, each worth 12 million VND, were given to poor households and orphans with especially difficult economic circumstances in the area. The total value of the cows given this time was nearly 72 million VND, drawn from funds mobilized from organizations and individuals in the commune.
The program aims to help households have jobs, increase income, improve their lives, and escape poverty sustainably./.
