Handling many cases of law violations

At the Internal Affairs Bloc meeting, the sectors in the bloc reported on the developments in security and order and the detection and handling of incidents and cases that occurred during the month. Notably, there were some outstanding contents on the results of detecting and handling violations of security and order, types of crimes violating the law on drug trafficking and possession; corruption crimes, market management, etc.

Specifically, in June, there was a sudden change in the arrest and handling of drug cases with 227 cases and 287 subjects.drug crime, seized 7.95 kg of heroin, 0.5 kg of crystal meth, 18,200 synthetic drug pills.

Notably, the number of drug criminals armed with firearms has increased (the authorities have seized nearly 20 guns of various types). The criminals also have a fierce attitude of resisting the authorities. For example, a police officer of Que Phong district was injured by a drug trafficker who fought back and shot him with a gun.

Regarding crimes related to corruption and positions, during the month, 6 cases were arrested and prosecuted, with 11 defendants in the districts of Quy Hop, Tan Ky, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau and at a business company.

In June, the authorities also discovered and handled 310 cases and 341 subjects violating the law on economic and environmental management order. The main cases were the trading of smuggled goods of unknown origin (126 cases and 126 subjects), and violations of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Continue to strengthen the fight against

Forecasting the security and order situation in the coming time may have potential complex problems, so forecasting work to promptly detect and handle them plays an important role. The conference requested representatives of sectors in the bloc to pay attention to forecasting work, closely monitor the area and field, especially the situation of activities of crimes related to drugs, human trafficking, smuggling, trade fraud, exploitation, transportation of forest products, minerals, illegal entry and exit, etc.

Some key projects under construction in the province continue to pose potential security and order complications due to some extremists inciting opposition. In addition to handling them according to the law, other sectors need to strengthen their grasp of the situation, increase propaganda and mobilization to create consensus.

At the conference, delegates also agreed on key tasks for July 2022. In particular, the armed forces will continue to maintain combat readiness; coordinate with local forces and authorities to organize patrols and control to protect the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands. Prepare well for provincial defense area drills and civil defense drills to respond to fire and explosion disasters, toxic chemicals and search and rescue in the province in 2022.

The functional forces proactively grasp the situation and effectively resolve emerging incidents related to national security. Coordinate well to resolve complicated incidents in religious areas, especially violations of the law in the field of land. Effectively implement the work of ensuring border security, mountainous areas, ethnic groups, rural security, internal security, economic security, information security, and network security. Absolutely protect the safety of delegations of Party and State leaders, international guests visiting and working, key targets, major political and social events...

Step up the fight against all types of crimes and law violations, especially murder, robbery, snatching, human trafficking, resisting law enforcement officers, crimes taking advantage of the summer to operate, high-tech crimes, crimes related to "black credit", drug crimes, illegal mining...

Strengthen coordination, effectively perform the work of receiving, classifying, handling reports, recommending prosecution, arrest, investigation, and handling crimes... Improve the effectiveness of detecting and handling corruption and negativity through inspection, supervision, auditing, and handling of denunciations.

Coordinate well in prevention workon fire, fire fighting, especially forest fire prevention and control during hot season, doing a good job of search and rescue and preventing drowning for children during summer vacation.

Effectively receive citizens, have direct dialogue with citizens and handle citizens' reflections and recommendations according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW, dated February 18, 2013 of the Politburo. Focus on resolving cases and lawsuits that have been directed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee at monthly meetings of the bloc and promptly report the cases to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
