European countries show off latest weapons and equipment at Eurosatory exhibition
Paris hosts the large-scale Eurosatory 2016 defence and security exhibition, which showcases the latest military and space achievements.
The Eurosatory 2016 defence and security exhibition began in Paris on June 13, providing an opportunity for European countries to showcase their achievements in military defence and space technology.

Eurosatory – the world’s largest Land and Air Defence and Security exhibition, takes place from 13-17. The event has been held every two years under the auspices of the French Ministry of Defence since 1967.
The event includes indoor and outdoor exhibitions, live equipment demonstrations, seminars, forums, conferences...
In 2016, the exhibition was held on a total area of 191,000m2. The event's Convention Center has 3 auditoriums with capacity for 1,500 people, 630 people and 180 people respectively.
Russia's state arms exporter Rosoboronexport will showcase military equipment at Eurosatory 2016 and will hold talks with European partners on defense equipment purchases.
Rosoboronexport expressed hope that foreign partners will be interested in new modifications to the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, T-90 and T-90MS tanks, BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, Smerch multiple rocket launcher, Pantsir-S1, Buk-M2E and Tor-M2KM missile systems, as well as Ka-52 and Mi-28NE attack helicopters.
At the exhibition, small arms manufacturer Kalashnikov Concern, optical electronics company Shvabe Holding and other Russian manufacturers will also present the country's defense industry./.
