Go Vap District Red Crossby Ms. Le Thi Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, President of the Go Vap District Red Cross Society and members of the Executive Committee of the Society, together with Venerable Thich Tac Bach - Deputy of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, concurrently Abbot of Linh Son Hai Hoi Pagoda and monks, nuns and Buddhists of Go Vap District visited, encouraged and presented 250 gifts (cash of 1,000,000 VND/gift, blankets and warm clothes) to 250 households affected by flash floods in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district.
Next, the delegation representative, Venerable Thich Tac Bach also presented 10,000,000 VND to support the Hunger Eradication and Poverty Reduction Fund of Ta Ca commune. Through the Go Vap District Red Cross Society, Tien Long Pagoda presented 50,000,000 VND to support the construction of a new house for Ms. Lau Y Xia's family, Son Ha village, Ta Ca commune.

Upon learning of the devastating flash floods in Ky Son District, Nghe An Province, the Go Vap District Red Cross Society called on its staff, members, volunteers, youth, and the public, as well as monks, nuns, and Buddhists, to support the victims of natural disasters. After a short time, the Society connected and presented gifts in Ta Ca Commune, Ky Son District, Nghe An Province, worth a total of VND360 million.

Nghe An Provincial Children's FundCoordinated with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Ky Son district to organize a gift giving program donated by units, businesses, organizations and individuals to support children affected by natural disasters and floods in the district with a total value of more than 200 million VND.
Accordingly, 200 gifts worth 100 million VND (500,000 VND each) sponsored by the Zhi-Shan Project Office through the Nghe An Provincial Children's Fund were handed over to children in areas severely affected by landslides in the district. (Previously, the Zhi-Shan Foundation Taiwan Project Office also, through the Provincial Children's Fund, gave 100 gifts worth 50 million VND to children affected by floods in Yen Thanh District).

Also at the program, Vien Nu Audio Sound and Light Company, Tam Duc Tai Company Limited and friends through the Nghe An Province Children's Fund will sponsor the construction of a charity house worth 50 million VND for a family of children affected by floods in Ky Son district. At the same time, books and clothes will be donated to children affected by floods in the district.
In addition, HN Garment Company Limited - AVALER Baby Brand also donated more than 300 sets of clothes for newborns through the Nghe An Provincial Children's Support Fund with a total value of more than 48 million VND.
On this occasion, the Provincial Children's Support Fund's Trade Union also mobilized cadres, civil servants and employees of the agency to support 3 cadres of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Ky Son district who lost their houses and property due to flash floods and landslides, each comrade received 1.5 million VND to encourage them to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives./.
