Currently, the work of preventing African swine fever is being implemented synchronously. People clean up the roads, then spray disinfectants at public places, markets, and slaughterhouses. Nam Nghia commune has purchased 2 quintals of lime powder to serve at 2 quarantine checkpoints.
At the same time, the commune also encouraged livestock farmers to proactively buy lime powder to sprinkle in the barn area. Nam Dan district provided 68 liters of chemicals to Nam Nghia commune to spray to prevent epidemics.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Dung - Chairman of Nam Nghia Commune People's Committee said: There are currently 45 households raising pigs in the area, with a total herd of 1,800 pigs. Of which, there are 250 sows, 4 boars, 800 piglets, and the remaining 746 pigs are ready to be sold. Therefore, banning pig slaughter at this time will be difficult for farmers; however, due to the nature of African swine fever, people are in high agreement.
Nam Dan district is implementing measures to contain the epidemic and prevent the spread of the disease according to the provisions of the Veterinary Law and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
