Camera 'caught' a motorbike thief from Nghe An while he was 'catching up on sleep' at a motel in Bac Ninh
(Baonghean.vn) - While he was busy "catching up on sleep" after a night shift, a young Thai ethnic man from Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong, Nghe An) had his motorbike stolen by a "thief" who broke into his motel room.

According to Mr. Vi Van Hung, resident of Nam Dinh village, Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong, the incident happened at noon on August 8, 2019 in his rented room in an industrial park in Tien Son district (Bac Ninh). Mr. Hung reported it to the local authorities. The landlord then extracted the security camera, which recorded part of the incident.

Images from the camera show that at around 12 noon that day, a tall, thin young man wearing a white shirt appeared in front of the motel door to observe. Then, another short, stocky young man wearing shorts and a dark shirt appeared. Both entered the motel. The tall, thin young man went to break the lock on the motorbike parked outside. The other went into the inner room where Vi Van Hung kept his motorbike.

The camera recorded the tall, thin young man pushing the motorbike parked outside the gate, but did not capture the scene of Mr. Hung's motorbike parked in the room being taken away at the same time.
The stolen motorbike of Mr. Hung is a red Sirius brand with license plate 37C - 111.71, bought by his family in 2017. In 2018, Mr. Hung went to work as a worker in the industrial park and brought the motorbike with him for transportation. When the motorbike was stolen, the 20-year-old man was "catching up" on sleep after a night shift.
