(Baonghean.vn) - This is an effort by educational institutions in the Ky Son highlands to concentrate students and resources to meet the requirements of teaching the new general education program.

Ngoài 19 trường PT DTBT THCS, huyện Kỳ Sơn có 42 trường tiểu học tổ chức bán trú. Các trường này đã dồn học sinh lớp 3 – 5 từ điểm lẻ về điểm chính. Đồng thời cho các em ăn, ở bán trú tại trường từ thứ 2 - 6. Dù tỉnh Nghệ An chưa có mô hình trường tiểu học bán trú, nhưng đây là nỗ lực của các cơ sở giáo dục vùng cao, nhằm tập trung học sinh, tập trung nguồn lực đáp ứng yêu cầu dạy học chương trình phổ thông mới. Năm học 2021 – 2022 là năm thứ 2, Trường Tiểu học Đoọc Mạy (huyện Kỳ Sơn, Nghệ An) tổ chức bán trú. Có 68 học sinh từ lớp 3 đến lớp 5 ở các bản lẻ Huồi Viêng, Phà Nọi, Nọng Hán được đưa về trường chính. Đóng tại xã biên giới xa xôi, khó khăn, điều kiện cơ cở vật chất của trường còn nhiều thiếu thốn. Thầy Trần Hữu Trường – Hiệu trưởng Trường Tiểu học Đoọc Mạy cho biết: Chúng tôi cũng kết nối với một số tổ chức, nhóm thiện nguyện tặng đủ chăn đệm, áo ấm cho học sinh trong mùa đông rét. Hiện hơn 10 giáo viên cắm bản ở lại trường dạy học. Khi đưa học sinh từ điểm lẻ về, bếp của thầy cô cũng thành bếp ăn của trò. Mô hình trường tiểu học bán trú đã được phủ kín ở huyện Kỳ Sơn Nghệ An và là mô hinh đang được nhân rộng ở nhiều huyện khác trong tỉnh.
