(Baonghean.vn) - That is one of the contents that voters in Tuong Son commune, Anh Son district proposed to two National Assembly deputies Le Quang Huy - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police on the afternoon of October 4.

Also attending were representatives of the following departments: Agriculture and Rural Development; Transport; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; leaders of Anh Son district and voters of Tuong Son and Hoa Son communes.

Tuong Son Commune is located about 10km from the district center, with 2,228 households and 9,654 people; 12 villages and 2 hamlets with 156 households of ethnic minorities with special difficulties. People's lives are mainly farming, raising livestock and growing tea...

At the conference, Mr. Le Quang Huy - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment informed voters about the expected content and program of the upcoming 6th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Voter Bui Cong Tai (Tuong Son commune) reported that the hydroelectric plants' flood discharge caused landslides along both banks of the Lam River, sweeping away many people's properties. Voters suggested that the National Assembly and the Government should work with hydroelectric plants to find timely solutions to help people feel secure in production.

Voter Luong Van Thang (Tuong Son commune) reported that the road and canal system in Gia Hop village has seriously degraded, making it difficult for people to travel and live. Voters hope that authorities at all levels will pay attention and invest in infrastructure to help people improve their quality of life.

Reflecting at the conference, voter Tran Quoc Dan (Hoa Son commune) said that the situation of supporting farmers with seeds and plants that do not ensure quality affects the crop season and productivity of the people. Therefore, voters recommended that the Government should have a policy mechanism to support farmers with better quality seeds and plants.

In addition, Anh Son voters also made recommendations on a number of issues such as: paying attention to implementing policies for people with meritorious services; allowance policies for grassroots cadres; supporting animal and plant varieties in agricultural development; and land clearance work still has many shortcomings...

After listening to voters' recommendations, representatives of relevant departments, branches and leaders responded to opinions within their authority.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, Director of the Provincial Police Nguyen Huu Cau acknowledged the voters' recommendations and directly explained the issues reflected by the voters.

Regarding the severe consequences of storms No. 3 and No. 4, delegate Nguyen Huu Cau said that the recent flood discharge caused the entire Nghe An province to suffer losses of more than 458 billion VND, of which Anh Son district suffered losses of more than 78 billion VND. To overcome the consequences of natural disasters, provincial leaders have directed and supported localities and affected families.

At the same time, the provincial leaders have submitted a document to the Government proposing support for people in affected areas to soon stabilize their lives and continue production.

Regarding other issues reflected by voters, the Provincial Police Director promised to receive and fully convey voters' opinions to competent authorities.
