Nghe An's largest fishing port is ready to operate
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 2 years of construction, Quynh Phuong Fishing Port (Hoang Mai Town) has been completed with a total cost of nearly 65 billion VND.
Hoang Mai town has nearly 900 boats, of which more than 400 are used for offshore fishing. Every time fishermen’s boats dock, they encounter difficulties in transporting and unloading seafood to shore. Many vehicles cannot enter the port because the sea dike is too narrow, affecting the situation of buying and selling seafood between fishermen and traders.
In order to meet the needs of docking, loading and unloading seafood products and providing fishing logistics services, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy in Decision No. 438/QD.UBND dated February 21, 2011.
