“The Door” for Singapore’s Young Generation of Leaders and Mr. Lee Hsien Loong’s Plan
Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said he will step down within the next two years to create conditions for the younger generation to demonstrate their talents.
Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on February 26 that in the coming time, his cabinet will be strongly reformed to give more responsibilities to the next generation of young leaders.

Mr. Lee Hsien Loong said that he will step down within the next two years and the island nation of Singapore will hold a general election in early 2021. The current Prime Minister's successor is expected to be one of the current Cabinet members.
On his personal Facebook page, the Prime Minister wrote that reshuffling the Cabinet means creating opportunities for the younger generation to demonstrate their talents and responsibilities to the country.
The next Prime Minister will be supported by a young leadership team that is not only capable but also experienced. The current government's biggest goal is to bring Singapore a brighter and more glorious future./.
