General Secretary To Lam holds talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong
On the morning of March 12, within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Singapore, General Secretary To Lam had high-level talks with Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore and Secretary-General of the People's Action Party of Singapore (PAP) Lawrence Wong.

On the morning of March 12 (local time), at the Singapore Parliament House, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore and Secretary-General of the People's Action Party of Singapore (PAP) Lawrence Wong presided over the welcoming ceremony for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam on an official visit to the Republic of Singapore.
Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, before entering the meeting room, General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Secretary General of the People's Action Party of Singapore Lawrence Wong introduced the official delegation members of the two countries.

According to the program, the two leaders led high-ranking delegations from the two countries to hold talks; witness the exchange of cooperation documents; speak to the press; and hold an official reception.
This is Comrade To Lam's first visit to Singapore as General Secretary, marking a new step forward in bilateral relations between Vietnam and Singapore; demonstrating the importance of promoting relations with Singapore to a new height, in line with Vietnam's foreign policy and guidelines.

The visit also contributes to further deepening the relationship between the two Parties, creating a solid political foundation for bilateral relations; promoting the potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of green economy, digital economy, science, technology and innovation, clean energy, financial centers, etc.

Singapore is one of the first ASEAN countries with which Vietnam established diplomatic relations. Over the years, the Vietnam-Singapore relationship has grown increasingly deeper and more effective in all areas.

Earlier, on the same morning, General Secretary To Lam and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, offered flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore; and attended the orchid naming ceremony at the National Orchid Garden of the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
