Nghe An Traffic Police launch peak patrol campaign during April 30 holiday
The Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has just issued a peak plan to ensure order and traffic safety on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, 2025 and improve the effectiveness of handling violations according to Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
The plan will be implemented from April 21, 2025 to May 20, 2025.
Accordingly, the maximum force, means, technical equipment will be mobilized, synchronous measures will be deployed to ensure order and traffic safety to control traffic accidents, determined not to let particularly serious traffic accidents occur; reduce traffic jams in the province to create the best favorable conditions for people to travel safely during the holidays.

The authorities will increase patrols, control and strictly handle violations on all road, rail and waterway routes. In particular, on road routes, the focus will be on controlling and handling drivers of cars, motorbikes, scooters and electric scooters.
Violations to be handled include: Carrying more people than the prescribed number; not operating on the correct route, schedule, and transportation itinerary permitted to operate according to regulations; carrying overloaded or oversized loads; avoiding or overtaking in violation of regulations; driving in the wrong part of the road or lane;...

In particular, strictly handle acts of not obeying the orders of traffic controllers or controllers; violating alcohol or drug concentrations, speeding; driving in groups causing traffic obstruction, weaving, swerving, illegal racing, and disturbing public order.
100% of officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police force in the area are mobilized to be on duty and patrol 24/7 during the holiday. In addition to the task of ensuring traffic safety and order, regulating vehicles for people to travel conveniently and safely, the Traffic Police force also focuses on patrolling and handling violations - especially violations related to alcohol concentration. The implementation of the task is carried out seriously, with the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".
