Police summon two boyfriends of naked girl in sack

After identifying the girl who was murdered and left in a sack from the rose tattoo on her back, Dong Nai police summoned the victim's two boyfriends for investigation.

On February 8, Dong Nai police said the victim with a rose tattoo on her back who was killed and left in a sack on the side of the road in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district was identified as Tran Thi Thanh Hoang (34 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City).

Police searched the victim's lodgings in Phu My town, Tan Thanh district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) and contacted relatives, friends, and the owner of the coffee shop (where Hoang worked in My Xuan commune, Tan Thanh district).

"From clues and the girl's movements before she went missing, we are working with two men believed to be her boyfriends, one of whom lives together as husband and wife at the motel," the investigator said.

According to the coffee shop owner, Hoang had only been working for nearly 2 months. On the morning of January 31 (the 4th day of Tet), she asked for leave to go home and promised to come back in 2 days. The next day, she still saw the female employee posting pictures of herself swimming in the sea on her personal page. By the evening of February 2, Hoang had not returned to work, the shop owner called but could not contact her.

"Hoang works from 6pm to 11pm every day. During her time working at the shop, she got to know many young men, including a man from the West," the shop owner said.

On the afternoon of February 6, residents of Phuoc Binh Commune, Long Thanh District detected a deathly smell in an abandoned house on the side of the road in Hamlet 1. Suspecting something unusual, many people searched for it. They were shocked to discover a decomposing female body hidden in a sack, about 10 meters from the road.

The autopsy showed that the victim was beaten with a hard object in the back of the head, showing signs of mechanical asphyxiation./.
