Two businesses in Nghe An were fined more than 300 million VND for delaying payment of insurance for employees.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh, now Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed a Decision to impose administrative sanctions on Son Trang Investment, Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company and Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited.
In the Penalty Decision No. 207/QD-XPHC dated December 31, it is stated that Son Trang Investment, Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company committed 2 administrative violations:
First act, Son Trang Investment Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company delayed paying compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance for 62 employees by November 30, 2024.
For the above violation, the company was fined 150 million VND. Regarding remedial measures, Son Trang Investment Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company was forced to pay the full amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance of 2,956,181,800 VND. Along with that, the Company must pay interest equal to 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year calculated on the amount and time of late payment.

Second, Son Trang Investment, Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company delayed paying health insurance for 62 employees required to participate in health insurance by November 30, 2024. For this act, the Company was fined 15 million VND.
Thus, the fine that Son Trang Investment Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company must pay to the Nghe An provincial budget is 165 million VND.
In the Penalty Decision No. 208/QD-XPHC dated December 31, it is stated that Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited committed 4 administrative violations:
First act, Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited delayed in paying compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance for 35 employees by November 30, 2024.
For the above violation, the company was fined 150 million VND. Regarding remedial measures, Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited was forced to pay the full amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance of 1,716,567,233 VND. Along with that, the Company must pay interest equal to 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year calculated on the amount and time of late payment.
Second, Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited delayed paying health insurance for 35 employees required to participate in health insurance by November 30, 2024. For this act, the Company was fined 8 million VND.
Third act, Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited paid compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance for an insufficient number of employees who were required to participate in compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance without having to evade payment for 2 employees with the amount of 25,515,000 VND. For this act, the Company was fined 6,889,050 VND and forced to pay the full amount of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance, the amount of 25,515,000 VND. Along with that, the Company must pay interest equal to 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year calculated on the amount and time of late payment.
Fourth act, Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited did not pay enough health insurance for the required number of employees to participate in health insurance for 2 employees. For this act, the Company was fined 4 million VND.
Thus, the fine that Thanh Huong Trading Company Limited must pay to Nghe An province's budget is 168,889,050 VND.
