Do Luong guy with billion-dollar chicken farming model

(Baonghean.vn) -Giving up his job as a hired hand in the South, Tran Huu Duc (29 years old) in Hamlet 7, Thuan Son Commune (Do Luong) decided to return to his hometown to start a business. Starting from animal husbandry, after 5 years, he had 2 chicken farms, with an annual revenue of more than 4 billion VND.

In 2007, Duc left home to work in Binh Duong. After 4 years in the South, he saved up some capital and decided to return to his hometown to reclaim hilly land and build a farm. With an initial capital of 100 million, Duc invested in raising pigs and chickens. Later, he found that raising pigs was not effective, so he switched to raising hill chickens and wild ducks. He was successful in the hill chicken raising model, bringing in a large source of income.

He currently has two farms: Thanh Duc Chicken Farm is 3 hectares wide, with 7 breeding areas and 1 care area; in 2015, he opened another Binh Minh Chicken Farm which is 7 hectares wide, with 3 breeding areas and a 1 hectare fish pond used to raise ducks and release fish. Currently, these farms are raising nearly 10,000 chickens, local chicken breeds, which have the advantage of being easy to raise, delicious meat, favored by customers, the current price is 90 thousand/kg. There are about 5,000 wild ducks at peak times.

Huu Duc said the advantages of the farms here are the mountainous terrain, far from residential areas, and isolated from epidemics. The total annual revenue from the farm reaches more than 4 billion VND, minus expenses, giving an income of about 800 million VND/year.

Every day, in addition to Do Luong district, customers from neighboring districts also come here to buy goods. In the photo, a customer from Thanh Chuong comes to buy chickens for a wedding.

Currently, among 266 farms, livestock and crop farms in Do Luong district, Tran Huu Duc's livestock farm is a typical example of effective business.
