(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 days of dropping her bag on the street, a woman in Vinh City did not think she would get the bag with many valuable assets back.

Ha Huy Tap Ward Police, Vinh City, said that at noon on November 19, at the unit's headquarters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly (39 years old), residing in Nghi Kim Commune (Vinh City), received back all of her belongings that were lost on the road (including 1 bag, more than 10 million VND in cash, 1 gold necklace, 1 ring, driver's license, ATM card...) from Mr. Phan Van Thang (23 years old), from Thinh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.

At the police station, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly received back her lost property.

Previously, at 1:20 p.m. on November 17, on his way from home to Vinh, when passing through Ha Huy Tap ward, Mr. Thang discovered a black bag on the road. When he saw that the bag contained many valuable assets, he brought it to the Ha Huy Tap ward police station to find the person who dropped it so he could return it.

Immediately afterwards, the police force quickly verified that the person who dropped the bag and these assets belonged to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly, residing in Nghi Kim commune (Vinh city) and invited her to the ward police station to receive them back.

The bag contained a lot of money, gold and documents that Mr. Thang picked up on the street.

After 2 days of losing her bag, she received her belongings back. Ms. Ly excitedly said: "I am so happy because I did not think I would receive the lost bag back with all my belongings inside and all the documents."

Mr. Phan Van Thang - the kind-hearted young man who returned property in the "rice hometown" of Yen Thanh - is currently working as a cook at a restaurant in Vinh City.
