Seawater quality at 4 beaches of Nghe An meets standards
(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has just announced the results of monitoring the seawater environment at 4 beaches in Nghe An, including: Quynh Phuong (Hoang Mai Town), Dien Thanh (Dien Chau), Cua Lo and Cua Hoi.

In order to carry out the assigned tasks according to Decision 6041/QD-UBND (dated December 21, 2015) of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on environmental monitoring in Nghe An province for the period 2016 - 2020 and Decision No. 522/QD-UBND (dated February 6, 2018) of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decision 6041/QD-UBND, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment organized the monitoring of seawater quality during the tourist season. Accordingly, the first sampling period in 2018 was held on April 2, 2018, at 4 beaches: Quynh Phuong (Hoang Mai Town), Dien Thanh (Dien Chau), Cua Lo and Cua Hoi.
Through monitoring and data analysis compared with the standard parameters QCVN 10-MT:2015/BTNMT - National technical regulation on coastal seawater for bathing and water sports areas, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment issued Official Dispatch No. 1768/STNMT-MT reporting the results of monitoring the seawater environment at the 4 beaches mentioned above.
Monitoring results of monitoring parameters include: pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), turbidity, salinity; Ammonium (NH4+), Phosphate (PO43-), Cyanide (CN-), Arsenic (As), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Coliforms are all within the permissible limits of the National Technical Regulation on coastal seawater for bathing and water sports areas.
