Fire at 2-storey house in Vinh city, many properties burned down
(Baonghean.vn) - The fire started in the kitchen, then the flames flared up and spread to the second floor.
According to initial information, at around 11:30 a.m. on March 9, people discovered a fierce fire that engulfed the entire 2-story house in Van Tien block, Hung Dung ward (Vinh city).

Immediately after that, everyone shouted together to put out the fire and called the authorities. At that time, no one was home so people had to pry open the door and break the lock to get inside.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police dispatched two fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. After about 15 minutes of deployment, the firefighters controlled and extinguished the fire.

The fire did not cause any human casualties but a lot of property inside was burned down. The initial cause was determined to be a gas leak, the fire started in the kitchen and spread throughout the house.
