House fire at night, 2 women and child died
Authorities are cordoning off and examining the scene of a serious fire that killed three people.
At around 1:30 a.m. on December 7, a fire broke out in a house at 487 Huynh Tan Phat (Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7).
At the time of the fire, there were two women and a child inside. Because the house contained flammable materials, the front exit of the house was surrounded by a wall of fire, trapping three people.
Local people discovered the fire and came to help but were helpless.

Fire police mobilized many vehicles and officers to the scene to control the fire afterwards.
The bodies of three victims were discovered in a 16m2 room on the ground floor.
Authorities have taken the victims' bodies to the morgue to assist with the investigation.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
