(Baonghean.vn) - Today is the last day of the National Day holiday, many people gathered at bus and train stations to return to work tomorrow.

According to the reporter's records, on the morning of September 3, at Vinh station, there were many people buying tickets and waiting for the train. Ms. Pham Thi Thuy (Nam Dan) shared: Knowing that it would be very difficult to get tickets during the holiday, before returning home, I booked a ticket online to return to Hanoi to work on the right day. The price of my air-conditioned soft seat ticket was 234,000 VND, not too high compared to normal days. Many people came to the station to buy tickets directly, but it will be difficult to get tickets today.

On the online train ticket booking homepage of Vietnam Railways, most of the routes from Vinh City to other provinces are fully booked, such as the Vinh - Hanoi route on September 3rd, there were 12 trains serving passenger transport including: SE8, SE6, SE36, NA12, NA4... but up to 8 trains were fully booked, even the most popular trains such as SE6, NA12 were all sold out, passengers could not book tickets.

In addition, 4 trains with very few tickets are NA4, QB4, QB2, SE2. These are routes that all travel during off-peak hours (from 7pm to 4am), so some people do not choose them, but they are expected to be sold out today.

Bus routes are also very busy today and getting a ticket is not easy. Contacting a bus company running the Vinh - Hue route, the owner of this bus company said: "Today I had to refuse many people because the number of customers booking tickets was too much, our ticket price is still at 150,000 VND and will not increase during this time."

The owner of a bus company running the Thanh Hoa - Hue route also said that only customers who booked tickets in advance were given priority to reserve seats, while those who came to the bus station to buy tickets had to take their chances because there were almost no empty buses at this time.

Because there were no tickets, many people gathered on major roads to catch a bus. However, catching a bus along this route was risky. Mr. Phan Xuan Quyen (Dien Nguyen, Dien Chau) said: I took a bus from Dien Chau town to Hanoi and had to pay 220,000 VND, while on normal days it was only 170,000 VND/ticket. Not only was the ticket price high, we also had to endure the crowding and stuffing of passengers, but because everyone wanted to get to work on time, we had to accept it.

Besides trains and coaches, bus stops serving passengers within the province are also very crowded. Bus fares are posted publicly and do not increase during this holiday even though the number of passengers increases significantly, the most crowded routes are Vinh - Dien Chau - Quynh Luu, Vinh - Nam Dan - Thanh Chuong, Vinh - Yen Thanh - Do Luong...

According to the representative of Nghe An bus company, the bus station added more than 20 buses during the holiday with 700 buses going to the provinces, of which buses going to Vinh - Hanoi accounted for 70%; especially during this holiday, there was no increase in ticket prices.
