This is a rare Apple event that lasts up to 2 hours. |
The iPhone X launch was the first major event held at Apple Park Campus (Cupertino, California, USA), the 178-square-acre headquarters that opened earlier this year. The ceremony took place in the Steve Jobs Theater, which can accommodate 1,000 people, but there was no empty seat. This was also a rare time that Apple extended the ceremony to more than 2 hours, nearly double the usual length.
Apple spent a lot of time at the beginning of the event honoring Steve Jobs and considering the late CEO's work ethic and creativity as the company's DNA. Tim Cook and his colleagues spent 20 minutes talking about the company's pride: the new headquarters, the iconic Apple Store system, the 10th anniversary of the iPhone - the device that changed the world and a theater named after the company's monument: Steve Jobs.

Watch Series 3 has an additional e-sim. |
"Apple" always opens a product launch event with less important devices and this time it is Apple Watch. Apple is confident that this is the product that changes users' habits about smart watches with a growth rate of 50% and is currently the number one watch brand in the world, surpassing Rolex, Fossil, Omega, Cartier.
Watch Series 3 is launched with the same design but equipped with LTE connection thanks to the integrated electronic sim, supporting calling, independent voice messaging and data updates via mobile network. The new generation uses 85% faster Wi-Fi connection, upgraded dual-core processor, near-full-screen antenna to increase transmission and reception capabilities. Smart integrated software like a fitness coach and health assistant notifies when the heart rate changes abnormally or is inactive for too long. Watch Series 3 of course also has many new strap models, GPS support and water resistance.
The product has a starting price of 329 USD for the version without integrated electronic sim (esim) and 399 USD for the version with esim.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have glass backs, wireless charging. |
Tim Cook returned to the stage and praised the impact of the iPhone on the world over the past 10 years. Very quickly after that, the head of Apple introduced the iPhone 8/8 Plus and made the company's product line without the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus as the traditional naming method. The new smartphone duo at first glance does not change compared to the iPhone 7/7 Plus but the big difference is the glass on both the front and back, similar to the iPhone 4 - a design that is still favored by many users.
The two devices still have 4.7- and 5.5-inch screens with the same resolution. But Apple has added True Tone technology to change the color temperature based on the color and ambient light. The device uses A11 Bionic processor chip with 6 cores, 64 bit support, lNew stereo speakers with 25% louder volume than iPhone 7 Plus. Camera with parameters that are little different from the dual 12 "dot" camera on 8 Plus, optical anti-shake, aperture f/1.8 for wide angle, f/2.8 for narrow angle. Portrait mode is promised to be better processed than before. The device also supports augmented reality and especially the ability to charge wirelessly with Qi standard.
The iPhone 8 starts at $699 and the 8 Plus starts at $799. Pre-orders start September 15 and it will be available September 22. iOS 11 will be available for download on September 19.
iPhone X

The iPhone X was the star of the launch event. |
Tim Cook once again used the classic phrase "One more thing", and this time it was to introduce the iPhone X. The most awaited device but has a design that is almost no different from the rumors and leaked photos before. The most prominent feature is the completely new Super Retina screen with a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125, 5.8 inches in size and using an edge-to-edge OLED panel. The Home button completely disappeared and there was no appearance of TouchID hidden under the screen or even on the back as predicted.
Apple spent the most time talking about the change in the way the iPhone X is used without the Home button and FaceID facial recognition technology. To unlock, users touch the screen to wake up the device via force touch technology, swipe up from the bottom to return to the home screen. FaceID technology is introduced to be able to recognize faces in real time, automatically recognize even when users wear hats, glasses, change hairstyles and even age over time. Apple claims that FaceID cannot be fooled by photos and is twice as secure as TouchID. The only regrettable point is that the iPhone X unlocking test by Craig Federighi, Apple's vice president of software engineering, later had a problem.

All new Apple mobile devices have wireless charging. |
The iPhone X also has a glass design on both the front and back, a vertical dual camera, and is water and dust resistant. The 7 megapixel front camera can also take portrait photos with blurred backgrounds. Meanwhile, the rear camera has slightly better parameters than the iPhone 8, which is a dual camera, but the aperture of the narrow-angle lens is better at f/2.4 (like the Note 8). The iPhone X also has wireless charging. This is also the reason Apple introduced AirPower, wireless charging for the iPhone X, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time.
There are only two storage options for the iPhone X, and they come at a hefty price. The 64GB version costs $999, while the 256GB version costs a whopping $1,149. While the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were released in September, the iPhone X won't be available until early November.
