(Baonghean.vn) - Muong Long Commune in the border district of Ky Son - a place likened to Sa Pa of Nghe An - is in the harvest season of Tam Hoa plums. Plum gardens here are laden with fruit, attracting the attention of tourists and traders.

These days of May, although the weather in many localities of Nghe An is generally hot and sunny, in Muong Long commune of Ky Son border district, it is cool, because the whole day is covered with clouds and fog. With a cool climate, Muong Long is suitable for crops such as plums, peaches, apricots... in which the plum growing area is the largest. Mr. Va Cha Xa - Chairman of Muong Long Commune People's Committee said that in the past, the locality had nearly 50 hectares of plums, but because there were times when plums could not be consumed, many households cut down plums to plant other trees.
